Robbery with frustrated homicide incident . Ooa 3:45 pm Jan 19, 2014 at National Highway, brgy Cabunbata, Isabela city one Ariel Castillo, 45 yo, mar., brgy chairman of Townsite, Maluso while driving his blue Honda wave 125 together with his Brgy Treasurer identified as Marilou Buscado y Vertudaso was side swiped by still unidentified riding in tandem assailants and shot him point blank hitting his lower jaw. The wounded victim was able to return fire with his licensed firearm that caused the suspect to leave hurriedly from the crime scene. Initial investigation disclosed that the victims withdrew money from the Land Bank in Isabela City for the salary of brgy employees. Allegedly during the confrontation, one of the suspect was hit.
