Robbie Casten-Heppe update. Your prayers are coveted for Robbie. At 9:00 am she collapsed at the Doctors office and has been in the er all day as the medical staff tries to determine the cause. They have come to the conclusion that she has a severe infection, most likely meningitis. A spinal tap has been done to determine the type of meningitis that she may have contracted. Part of the treatment of a double lung transplant is to lower the bodies immune system so that it will accept the new lungs. In doing so it subjects the body to infections such as this. She has been blessed through the process with good recovery. This infection is a major blow and we need God to touch Robbie. Our faith is in Him and the good people He has given us to care for Robbie. Thank you so much for holding her up in prayer.
