Robert C. Bob Crawford, age 80, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born March 30, 1934 in Syracuse, N.Y., Bob was the son of the late Melvin B. Crawford and the late Norma Tappen Crawford. He was a graduate of Morrisville State College, Morrisville, N.Y. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was involved in the American Legion, a volunteer at the Anderson Free Clinic and enjoyed bowling in various leagues. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Bennett Crawford, his 7 loving children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his springer spaniel, Buddy. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
