Robert ‘Fuzzy’ McAlonan Robert “Fuzzy” McAlonan, of Quitman, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, in Tyler, Texas, at the age of 67. He was born Tuesday, May 21, 1946, in Chicago, to Robert William and Amanda McAlonan. He was a member of the motorcycle club for Who Else Inc. in Nelson, and a member of Lake Country Classics Car Club in Quitman. He was an avid biker, fisherman, and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Frances of Kilgore, Texas; one son, James McAlonan and wife Cheri of Prophetstown; three stepsons, Frank Stuart and wife Tica of Rock Falls, Andy Stuart and wife Christina of Boone, Iowa, and William Eads of Quitman; two daughters, Tammy McAlonan of Dixon and Larrisa Blum and husband Steve of Sterling; one ex-daughter-in-law, Teresa Rigsby of Quitman; two brothers, Dale McAlonan and wife Ann of Winona, Texas, and Aleck McAlonan and wife Sandy of Victoria, Kan.; three sisters, Barb Hargus of Big Sandy, Texas, Gail Tuttle and husband John of Byron, and Bert McAlonan of Quincy; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert William McAlonan. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Who Else Inc. in Nelson.
