Robert Kuok efforts to develop the sugar, flour and insurance - TopicsExpress

Robert Kuok efforts to develop the sugar, flour and insurance business Malaysia came to a naught. After more than 40 years building his business, he was forced to sell Perlis Plantation (sugar), Gardenia (bread) and Jerneh insurance to UMNO cronies. Without a doubt, with his resilience and entrepreneur spirit, he made a comeback in Malaysia. The karma effect has haunted Malaysia UMNO cronies because our nation palm oil export must go through his company before reaching the huge China market. He can easily punished UMNO cronies with his control over the access to the China market. But he is a benevolent and professional businessman who did not create any difficulties to the small holders in the palm oil plantation industry. Even though, the no. 1 UMNO crony, Syed Mokhtar and his gang of pirates have forced him out of Perlis Plantation, they have to turn to him to buy Malaysia sugar shortfall from the international market. Finally, he hit back at Gardenia bread with his new brand Massimo which is cheaper in the bread market. A truly towering Malaysian born businessman who stand tall amongst those UMNO dwarfs who only know how to takeover business through political patronage.
