Robert Paul Adams, age 93 of Hamilton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 7, 2014, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born in Harlan County, KY on March 16, 1921 to Charles and Frances (McConnel) Adams. On November 14, 1941 in London, KY he married Geneva Adams, the love of his life. Robert was retired from Mosler Safe Company. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Geneva Adams; daughters, Patricia (Stephen) Elliot, Janie (Harry Casseday) Mester, Vicky (Terry) Griffin, and Beth Belcher; grandchildren, Robert (Carmen) Hughes, Brian Mester, Adam (Shara) Griffin, Rachael (Mike Barnett) Griffin, Courtney Belcher, Zach Belcher; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; special niece, Velva Kuykendoll; special nephew, Delmer Jones; and many other nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Lynn Craig; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and his parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati, his nurse Deana, and aide Kari for their care and compassion. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Faith Pentecostal Church in his honor.
