Robert Sirleaf Uses State of Emergency as Cover to Build-up Campaign Cells in 17 Districts; Bodyguards Brutalize A Classroom Teacher, Prince Cassell at Campaign Meeting on Peace Island... Note: Days before Police operatives brutalized innocent opposition members, including CDCs Youth Chair Jefferson Koijee, at the National Elections Commision, police bodyguards of Mr. Robert Sirleaf attacked a Classroom Teacher on Peace Island during a political gathering. It was one of several such gatherings mobilised by the Sirleaf-for-Senate campaign group, which continues to exploit the State of Emergency and obvious elections schedule extension to engender unfair advantages, as other candidates remain interlocked in, and to repel a deadly biological warfare to save lives! As a poor Classroom Teacher, Prince Cassell(whose brutality is photographed below), and Mr. Jefferson Koijee continue in seperate pains, the question many pundits are asking comes frontpage; was the State of Emergency declared to enable Mr. Robert Sirleaf prepare for his Senate ambitions while others are restricted, humiliated, brutalized, or left alone to fight Ebola? Excepts below: Growing political activities of Montserrado Countys Senatorial Candidate & son of the President, Mr. Robert Sirleaf may be shedding light on the actual intent of The State of Emergency and possibly, a reason for the postponement of the October elections. Upon her declarations of a state of Emergency, and a concomitant rescheduling of the October elections, a landslide public opinion verbally revolts against the twin-actions, judging the move as a subtle maneuver to buy her son more time and space to muster momentum as he anticipates a senatorial contest that leaves even The gods greatly marvelled at his foolhardy courage of delusion. A few days into the past, Mr. Sirleafs magnanimity to help the fight against the Ebola virus is now being overshadowed by growing outcry against strategic campaign/political meetings in and around Monrovia under the banners of Friends of Robert Sirleaf for Senate. Mr. Sirleaf, inarguably the most influential man in his mothers government( Its said hes even more influential domestically than his mother) in which he served as Senior Advisor for many years, has attended and presided over most of said meetings, some of which got disrupted by communities that convicted the Candidate as a heartless bureaucrat exploiting the tragedy of Ebola to engineer selfish interests centred around the plethora of power. In the ELWA area, community members accentuated their disapproval through collective actions as women and men disallowed any political gathering that promotes political interests rather than discuss methods of tackling the deadly epidemic outbreak. A few days ago, Mr. Sirleaf was chased out of that vicinity whilst being labeled as wicked for prioritizing power above human life. For the Peace Island community, the scenario proved different. Apparently developing commensurating tactics in memory of the ELWA disapproval, Mr. Sirleafs emotions flared out of control when Prince Cassell, a resident of the Island, questioned the rationale of a political assembly far removed from discussions on the Ebola nightmare. Mr. Cassell, a classroom Teacher, was midway in speech when the Presidents son grew swollen with rage at the criticism, demanding the speaker to Be quiet and sit down. The speaker being Hesitant to take imperial orders, Mr. Sirleaf Moved on him and was only prevented by his bodyguards who got the signals, and wasted no time in completing the violent actions, thereby Brutalising the critic. As illustrated in the attached photographs, Mr. Cassells shirt was ripoff and his face bruised. He was thrown out of the Sirleafs political meeting, one of many such meetings being organized with hopes of giving the Presidents son some added height in a race he stands dwarfed and outnumbered apparently due to the vastly failed policies of his mother, for whom he has been the most influential senior advisor. Meanwhile, as public pressure builds against the ongoing State of Emergency, which is said to be dispossessed of any trace to the fight against Ebola, questions are beginning to emerge about the scarring presence of armed men roaming the streets at nighttime, ordering the closure of entertainment areas as was with the Airfield brouhaha an evening ago. Why unleash an Army to do a job (and the ERU and PSU of the Police are also armed) that can be achieved with Police deployment? Couldnt you reallocate the cost of military deployment to empowering healthcare institutions and their workers to be better equipped to treat and prevent any further escalation? And did the Government of Liberia actually Spent US$12m dollars between April and June to fight Ebola as reported by western media? On the overall, whilst elections postponement resonates as a reasonable measure to prioritise the anti-Ebola campaign and save lives, it appears Mr. Robert Sirleaf is locked in a duel with community members who are said to be evolving a growing dissent of opposition against any future meetings designed to garner political dividends ill-dispossed to the fight against Ebola. And now that Police brutality expands under the cover of a State of Emergency, a state of fear, uncertainty and imminent danger looms detrimental to a free society. Yesterday, CDCians, Eric Kollie, Youth Secretary, Barsee-Karr Barley, National Youth Chair, Jefferson Koijee, and others were badly beaten for standing in a group of around thirty-persons across the entrance of the Elections Commissions main gate as Mr. Sirleaf holds mass meetings backed by Police protection! As the Presidents son makes campaign advances under the cover of State of Emergency, the question his mother is probably asking is not How could the Police hurt those innocent people; but Chris, was my son well protected today during that campaign meeting...?
