Robert, as a veteran of the U.S. Navy, feels that a member of our military wounded in war should be treated like a hero, and not just called one on Veteran’s Day. The United States Military is the absolute best in the world, and it is because of the brave men and women that sacrifice for us every single day. Robert Fry fully supports the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, providing educational opportunities for military personnel and veterans. The trauma of serving doesn’t just end when our servicemen and women return home. Robert understands, not only as a veteran, but as someone that has worked with veterans in his ministry, that meeting the mental needs of our veterans is absolutely imperative. We must make it easy for veterans everywhere, including the rural communities, to obtain access to the care that they need. There are over 60,000 veterans in OH-5--and thanks to Marcy Kaptur, we have a new VA facility in Toledo. But it cant stop there. The system needs overhauled, and these honorable men and women are sometimes treated as a number, rather than a name. Ill stand with our Veterans, because I am one. #OH5 #fry4five #navyPROUD
