Robert will not be racing in the F2 World Final following his 2nd place finish in last nights Semi. After the race he announced that because of the suspended ban hanging over him he cant risk his F1 World Final and shootout chances. I know many will be disappointed on hearing this but I hope as I do you respect and understand his decision which I know wasnt an easy one to make. One life long supporter of Robert and fan of BriSCA f2 told me last night he wont be going to the WF now and will be giving his entrance fee to the Aspire charity Robert supports. This isnt a request for any of you that decide not to go to do the same its just to show the depth of feeling fans of Robert have and the disgust at this farce of a suspended ban. It would of been great to see him at Cowdenbeath in what could possibly of been his last F2 race but that chance has been taken away from him and us now which is a sad end to his illustrious F2 career.
