Robert wrote.. i was wondering if anyone has any ideas for my situation?i had a new socket made it is a velcro strap liner that goes through the bottom and fastens to the front clip of the socket.i have had it for a few months and can only hit the bottom if i bear all my weight on it and as soon as i step it pistons right back out about 1 1/2 inch and hovers above the bottom of the socket till i bear weight again.i have lost the 5 pounds i gained between casting and the making of the socket and my limb is still too big.is there a thinner liner i could get or some other trick to making this work everything else about it is pretty comfortable.im not sure what has gone wrong and the guy who made the socket has transfered to another city and not available most of the time.thank you in advance i welcome any ideas im pretty handy but i dont want to ruin it and i know most of you are gonna say go see your leg dr.im working on getting one but im now going to college and theres just not enough room to be in a wheel chair i lost my leg feb 2 2012 and i have never had a socket that was comfortable or fit well the last was a suction and that thing caused sores anyways thank you in advance.......
