Robin Williams was more than just an actor - he was a GIANT. Very few performers could exude the warmth, humor, and pathos that he could. Very few can boast not just the variety of roles, but the depth of roles that he could. Whether making us laugh in Mrs. Doubtfire or Jumanji, making our imaginations soar in Hook or Aladdin, cry in The Fisher King, scaring us in Insomnia, or inspiring us in Good Will Hunting or Dead Poets Society... Williams was a man who could do it all. His presence is as indelible to my filmmaking upbringing as movies itself. He will be greatly missed. May peace and comfort wash over his family and all the lives he touched. Thank you for the laughter and thank you for the passion.
