Robin Williams was one of three comedians who made a huge impact on my early life (the other two being Eddie Murphy and Joan Rivers). I adored Mork & Mindy, and I listened to Williams A Night at the Met over and over until I knew every bit by heart -- even the parts I didnt understand (like his impression of a kindergarten-aged Truman Capote). Later, I appreciated his performances in The World According to Garp, Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting. Even in a movie like Birdcage, which I loathed, Williams shined. I cannot fathom that this how it all ends. RIP, Robin.
