Robocop 2014 Starring: Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Samuel L. Jackson. It is 2028 in Detroit and Alex Murphy (played by Joel Kinnaman) is doing his best as a city cop. Some day minding his own business, he is critically injured in bomb attack on his life. Multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology and utilises their remarkable abilities of robotics to save Alexs life. After transformation into a robot he returns as RoboCop… Yea, yeaa, yeaaa... We all know the story and the plot is technically the same like in the Robocop from 1987 and this is a good thing! :) For some more details you must go to cinema and find out for yourself. ;) I can only say that in first two seconds of the movie you may think: „Hmm, comedy? I’m sure this is not a comedy…? ” and you are right, its not! It is nice to hear RoboCop original theme in the beginning and through the movie, it brings back memories of when RoboCop was a hero of every little boy. On the computer screen in the office of Raymond Sellars (played by Michael Keaton) we can also notice the original robocop suit from 1987, that is a nice touch :) Alexs suit is black, but we need to know that this is a second generation of it, the first is grey and black. As the original. :) Good special effects and good choreography in robot movements and in fight scene. If the producers were looking for an actor who will play a good-robot. They found the prefect guy. Joel Kinnaman is really good. I recommend it to all those, who remember the original movie and want to go back in time and recall memories and all those, who have not seen it, to go to the cinema- Im sure you will also enjoy it.
