Robot Control Competition held at Daffodil International University The Dept. of SWE, EEE and ETE jointly has organized a Robot Control Training event followed by a Robot Control Competition for the students of Daffodil International University (DIU). In this event 150 students of EEE, CSE, SWE and ETE have been registered. Mr. Takayoshi Suzuki, a Japanese visiting faculty member of Daffodil International University has started training the teachers and students about the line tracer (line follower) robot assembly and develop software to control the robots. Students will be able to learn how embedded software are to be developed and to put inside the micro-controller of the robots so that robot itself can take decision while running on by taking response from the surface as input. The teachers and student will get a two week training on this event and the students will participate in a final competition which will take place on 30 November 2014. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to winners.
