Robotics!! Today the Pryor High School physics class paid the Rec Center a visit and brought some of their Rove submersible robots to test them out in our pool. These robots are designed to be completely submersed in water and still be controlled by the class. Also, the robots themselves are equipped with a camera that is connected to a little monitor so the class can see what going on under the surface. The project, called the Jason Project Robots, where originally from the Boys and Girls Club. The class was lead by teacher Pam Devers and consisted of her students Jake Long, Jeffery Helmuth, Noel Orcutt, Ryan Ogg, Colton Smith, Brandon Pope, and Jack Darby. With them were two mentors from Google named Todd Bolt and Quincy Normandin. Below are some pictures taken while Pams class were testing the bots. :)
