Robyn Sassen writes about Miřenka Čechová, currently in the Marker Theatre in Johannesburg in The Voice of Anne Frank. Sassen is a freelance arts writer and arts editor of the SA Jewish Report. Sixteen years in the industry, she writes for various online and print publications, including her blog: robynsassenmyview.wordpress. Her specialist critical focus includes theatre, contemporary dance and the visual arts and she has judged for the Naledi Theatre Awards, the MEC Dance Awards and the Ovation Awards hosted by the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, amongst other platforms. She is also a regular visiting academic at several universities.
