Rockefellers Pull Out of Fossil Fuels THE descendants of US oil tycoon John Rockefeller are slashing their investments in the fossil fuels that helped create their vast fortune, diverting the money to renewable energy. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, which oversees US$860m of investments, made the announcement in the run-up to a UN climate change summit taking place today.
