Rocket Day at the Academy First there were kites and then rockets. The last science class with the 8th grade was lots of fun. Ms. Church had the 8th graders assemble rockets as their final lesson and experiment and then launched them in the parking lot. The rest of the middle school along with Mr. G looked on as the rockets were launched. Many were successful, some went higher than others, and in the end Charlies rocket burned out the detonator. Oh well. Even so they had a great time.
