Rocket. (Eruca sativa) I distinctly remember the waiter describing this to me as like peanut butter with pepper when I first tried it back in the 80s. Thirty years later and now we grow it. And whilst our description might not be quite the same, Near River rocket is highly sought by many of our market customers for its intense flavour. We put this down to our growing practices, namely that, like all our vegetables, they are grown in soil; our organic growing methods allow the plant to express its full rocketness; and the love and care we apply would be of benefit to.
