Rockpool Group directors Neil Perry, Trish Richards and David Doyle have announced that their first international restaurant - Spice Temple Dubai – will not proceed as previously announced. Due to a change in strategic direction with joint venture partner Majid al Futtaim, Rockpool Group will not be continuing development of a Spice Temple restaurant in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. Neil Perry says, “We are disappointed that we will not be able to introduce Spice Temple to the Dubai market next February as planned. But due to the overwhelming interest that has been generated by our expansion plans outside of Australia, we are now pursuing additional restaurant opportunities in the Middle East and Asia, as well as in other locations around the world.”
