Rocks and crystals are off the earth. Earth is an element. However, it is a LIVING ELEMENT, in that it feels. It absorbs energies and emits energies - for the good or bad. The basic materials of a pendulum is rock [either a stone of whatever type, or a crystal of whatever type]. Then we have the chain [either silver, gold, bronze, copper, or simple string]. However, everything on that pendulum - from the weight to the chain, is ultimately from the earth. And, as we all should know, the earth is a living, breathing organism. Therefore, pendulums, are - you might say - living, breathing organisms as well. They will absorb your energy for as long as you carry them and use them. This then means that their accuracy when you ask a question, is ultimately down to how often you use them and how close your relationship is with your pendulum. I, myself, find that my crystal pendulum is very very accurate with its answers that it supplies me. In fact, crystal - when used as a pendulum - is the most accurate of all. But that is my personal opinion [having used stone, brass and even plastic pendulums in the past]. We may never understand the workings of a crystal, but nevertheless, they are alive and living - not in the sense that we understand - but living because they ARE from a LIVING planet..the Earth.
