Rockview 1-2 cartwheel. Going on league standings there is no doubt that many would argue that this would be an easy victory for cartwheel, however those who were at the game will know that this score line flattered cartwheel. Rockview took lead in the 22nd miniute when a corner was delivered in by Jordan Coyle and headed in by lee Lee Anderson at the back post. Rockview had chances to double and even treble their lead but failed to do so and this would prove crucial. Cartwheel equalise in the 51st minute when back post corner was drilled across the rockview goal line and despite the best efforts of Matthew McCartney the ball crossed the line. The young rockview team continued to attack the cartwheel goal but couldnt find that killer touch and were caught on the counter attack when cartwheel scored in the 71st minute with a dubious goal, which looked offside. Ryan Ryan Brown and Jordan coyle both went close hitting the post near the end but cartwheel came out with the 3points. It might be tough for these young rockview players to battle hard every week and get no reward, but the effort they showed was first class. Of the starting 11 they had 8 players 20 or under. This year will be a massive learning curve for these young players. Keep it going lads, the club is ver proud of you all.
