Rocky Gap State Park was used for The Ragnar Relay Race on Friday, September 12. Consisting of two separate races, some teams are traveling from Pittsburgh, PA, and exchanging batons at Rocky Gap, and some teams are starting at Rocky Gap. Both groups will run around Lake Habeeb and continue to the finish line, which is within the shadows of the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. A nationally known relay race, one individual in each relay team must be running a leg of the race at all times in distance ranging between 3-8 miles and varying in difficulty.
