Roderick Scott Shot and Murdered a 17 year old child and was found not guilty, what a system we have, (you can get away with killing a child because you think its ok to take the law into your hands)? Some one wrote this below about the case: I did not attend the trial of Roderick Scott. I was not privy to the details of the investigation, the urging of attorneys, the instruction of the judge, or the emotion of the courtroom. But, regardless of the verdict, there is one irrevocable fact; Roderick Scott brought deadly force to a situation that absolutely did not require any. He made a decision to confront a group of teenagers in the act of a non-violent crime, fully aware that police were minutes away. There was at no time any imminent threat to his person or property until he left his house. In the end, Mr Scott took the law into his own hands.
