Roger Fierst: The state of Indiana is giving $116 million to religious voucher schools for the 2014-15 school year. It is at least $16 million more than anticipated. The law clealy says that the state may not change the curriculum which permits creationism to be taught as science in approximately 40 school buildings in Indiana. One religious organization receives approximately $100 million in tax dollars for its religious voucher schools. Is this how citizens of Indiana want their tax dollars spent? Polls say no, but the politicians who are buyng votes with tax dollars continue to give the money away with no accountablity.
