Rogers Little Theater (RLT) will present Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley on May 2-4 and 8-11, 2014 Curtain time is 8 p.m. with Sunday performances at 2 p.m. Seating for dinner theater begins 90 minutes before curtain and the meal is served until thirty minutes before curtain. All non-dinner seating begins thirty minutes before curtain time. The performances will be held at the historic Victory Theater, 116 S 2nd St, Rogers, AR 72756. Dinner theater tickets are $48 and Balcony Seats are $17 and may be obtained by contacting the RLT box office at 479-631-8988 or the RLT website at rogerslittletheater.org. The 1986 film adaptation was directed by Bruce Beresford and garnered three Academy Award® nominations, including one for Henley for Best Adapted Screenplay. Set in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, the three Magrath sisters have gathered during their grandfather’s final hours in the local hospital. Now in its 28th year, RLT produces a wide variety of plays, musicals and special events at the historic Victory Theater in downtown Rogers. With a subscription base of more than 375 members and funding support from some of the area’s most prominent businesses, foundations and community groups, RLT is a vibrant part of the region. Over 20,000 audience members attended RLT productions in the past two seasons, and the theater relies on more than 700 volunteers, including approximately 150 volunteer actors. Their donations of time, talents and financial resources bring vitality and strength to RLT. RLT is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
