This truly Victorian extravaganza is set against the backdrop of Gloucester’s historic docks. Catch a glimpse of living, breathing Victorian characters as they bring to life the hustle and bustle of a Dickensian festive feast. Soak up the atmosphere (and authentic Victorian cordials) with top-hatted barkeeps and aproned serving wenches at our unique Temperance Tavern. Take in the sights and smells of traditional market stalls. Gather the perfect handmade gift from one of our talented producers. Sample the finest artisan delicacies: from hot mulled wines and ciders to savoury sensations and heavenly sweet treats. Hot food stalls will sustain you and live music entertain you as you wander the beautifully lit lanes. And when your feet begin to protest, grab a festive tipple and take a little rest to watch true artists at work. Our blacksmith will be hammering iron into beautiful shapes in her forge, and our butcher will be demonstrating the art of Victorian butchery. A Ferris wheel and carousel will keep a smile on the face of children small and large.
