Rollie (pronounced Raleigh) is a 7-9 yr old miniature poodle. Rollie spent the first part of his life in a puppy mill. Now free from a life of cages and being bred for profit, he is learning how to be a pet for the first time. He is bit shy but loves to snuggle and play with toys. Rollie has already learned to climb stairs, walk on the leash and does well through the night and in his crate. Although not house trained yet, Rollie is trying to learn what is expected of him. His coat is very soft and he is a gorgeous cream and white. Rollie is only about 10 lbs and does well with other dogs of all sizes, and with cats. As sudden changes and loud noises startle him, he would do best in a home without small children. Although we try to make him feel safe, his early years in a puppy mill surely haunt him. He was born with a genetic defect that made his left eye almost completely blind. For this reason Rollie needs his anti-inflammatory eye drops once a day every day.
