Rom. 8:31-36. These are some of the most powerful verses in the Bible. God works all things to the good for those whom are called according to His purpose. Who is called, all who choose Jesus Christ as Lord have been predestined as sons of God. God would never cause harm to those whom He called. This begs the question, why do bad things happen to those who are called? Jesus gave us the answer when He answered the question whether the blind man or his parents sinned that caused him to be born blind. The answer was that it happened so that God would be glorified.
