Romans 6:19-23 says, I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin(NATURE), ye were free from righteousness(NATURE). What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin(NATURE), and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin(NATURE) is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Pauls thought in this chapter is to bring us to the understanding that at the cross JESUS dealt with the sin(NATURE) problem, so we could now be the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD in CHRIST. We have a NEW NATURE! Because of us KNOWING that, there should be noticeable fruit in our life. I am so excited about all of GOD and all of me being one in HIM!!! When you think about what JESUS did for us it is absolutely overwhelming. HE loves us so much. HE gave us eternal life. Which is HIS very nature. HE removed the old man(SIN NATURE) and gave us a NEW MAN(RIGHTEOUS NATURE). Paul goes on to explain how we are literally married to HIM, now that we are born of HIS nature!!! Have a great day!
