Romans 8 - 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. I love that word nothing inserted in there. I find it interesting when people speak of their troubles and say, no one seems to ever go through what I do. I may have even spoken those words myself a time or two! We sometimes get to that place in life where all seems dark and drear. But the Word says we are to encourage ourselves, and Im pretty much encouraged when I read Romans 8:38-39. Nothing I endure, nothing I can imagine enduring, nothing in ALL creation will EVER be able to separate me from the love of God!!!!! And if I have the love of God, that makes all things bearable! Each day as I read His love letter to me I find more and more nuggets to chase my cares away. I sense His love and care near me, and know He walks the hills and valleys alike with me. I cherish our quiet time alone, times I sit in His presence and just think on His goodness, or other times when I am moved to tears and weep to cleanse my heart and soul, or times I can only whisper His name from a broken heart. All those times He loves me!! I praise Him for that love this day. I praise Him because I know what ever befalls me, nothing can snatch me out of His hand and away from my blessed Savior. Read that scripture again and claim it as your own. It is you know! Read your name in place of the words us and our. Make it yours personally! Believe it and be transformed by His great love.
