Romans 8:30 says, “Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” Before the foundation of the world God saw you justified, glorified, and conformed into the image of Jesus Christ! Our salvation, sanctification, and redemption have already occurred, but we have yet to be glorified. Glorification refers to the resurrection body we will one day receive. God saw our salvation past tense, our sanctification past tense, our justification past tense, and He also sees us conformed into the image of God past tense just as He also sees our future past tense. Heaven is a sure thing because God already sees us there in our resurrection bodies. Because this is true, it is the assurance we will make it through this trial, and the trial we face next week, and the trial we may go through next month! We can glory in tribulation because just as sure as my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, my future is secure. This is the reason I can rejoice in tribulation. No matter what tribulation comes my way, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. There is no temptation that comes against me that He has not already provided a way of escape. In fact, the way of escape existed before the trouble ever came along because God existed before the devil came along and He provided every answer ahead of time. God had the answer before the devil sinned, God had the answer before Adam sinned, God had the answer before Eve sinned, and God’s has an answer before you ever sin. Obviously, no one can make you sin, but if you choose to, God’s got has the answer.
