Rome After the being Ryanized on our flight from Bratislava, we arrived in Rome. We found our hotel which had a one by two inch sign on a buzzer. The manager was waiting for us outside on the street just in case we missed the sign. On first glance Rome is a little grimy, but when we got up to the three room hotel, it was spotless and modern. Jan and I went down and had dinner at a curbside restaurant. We ordered and while we waited for the food to arrive, we nibbled on tomatoes still on the vine attractively situated in the middle of the table. Soon they were all gone. When we finished our meal and the bill came, the waiter cleared the table and picked up the tomato bowl and looked at it, he informed us that we had eaten the table decoration.
