Ron Kuley, can you add these to your Company 26 memorabilia collection. These are photos of some of the things I made for Squad 26 during my assignment there in the mid to late 80s. Both of these Line Copy articles were done during my time at 26 on B-Shift... the Life in the fast lane was from the April-May 1988 issue, and the other was from the Fall of 1990 Recruitment issue. I loved making things for the fire trucks, and I made a lot of stuff, even if it was only a bracket here or there. The biggest project I guess was the Seagrave cab in the Massey Building Lobby. Metal fabrication was/is my gift, and I shared it with my other true love, the fire service! Just wish I would have taken more photos of the stuff! LOL I often wonder what I could have done for the department, had I sought a promotion and went to the apparatus shop. I can guarantee that we would have had a research and development program second to none...and with the Fairfax money....probably industry leading!
