Ronald McDonald House goes ‘Pandemonium’ for aluminum pop-tab donations Families, school groups, churches and other organizations are invited to deliver boxes, bags, and other storage cartons full of the otherwise easily-discarded can tabs. Pop Tab Pandemonium will run from 9 a.m. to noon on May 10 at the Ronald McDonald House at 2502 Cherry St. More than 150 area schools as well as various other groups have worked throughout the year to collect the tabs. This will be the 5th Annual Pop Tab Pandemonium for Kansas City’s Ronald McDonald House with expectations for more than 16 tons of pop tabs collected this year! Pandemonium is a free, family-friendly event, particularly designed for families of elementary-age kids. There are games, activities, Ronald McDonald, fire trucks, SWAT team vehicles, firefighters and police teams with their uniforms and equipment kids can put on, along with tough trucks and drivers from Valley Speedway, face painting, temporary tattoos, games, hair painting. House tours, ice cream, slushies, jugglers … and of course, Tons of Tabs will also be available.
