Ronaldinho is regarded by many as the best player of the last decade. The Brazilian superstar has won almost everything a footballer can win in his career. He won the FIFA World Player of the Year award twice in consecutive years (2004 and 2005). He also won the FIFA World Cup, the Champions League and two Spanish league titles. After playing in the European circuit for a decade Ronaldinho joined Flamengo in 2011 from AC Milan. He started his European stint with Paris Saint-Germain in 2001. But hisreal stardom came in FC Barcelona where he played for five seasons from 2003 to 2008. He won two La Liga title and a Champions League title with the Catalans. Ronaldinho played his first international game for Brazil in 1999 and became a household name in the 2002 World Cup where he sizzled with his skills and helped his national side won the coveted trophy for the record fifth time. During his stay at Barcelona, Ronaldinho started to accumulate a host of personal awards. He won the inaugural FIFPro World Player of the Year in 2005 and later named the 2005 European Footballer of the Year. Then he won his second FIFA World Player of the Year in the same year.
