Ronan-Pablo Fall Hunters Education Class Announced Registration for the Ronan-Pablo Fall Hunter Education course will be Friday, August 16th, in Room 116 of the Beaverhead Math & Science building on the Salish Kootenai College campus in Pablo. Registration will begin at 7:00 p.m. A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 to registration. Only individuals 11 years of age or older at the day of sign-up may be certified upon successfully completing the course. Volunteer instructors will teach the Hunters Education course begin August 20th, 21st, 22nd. Classes will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each evening. A mandatory field course is scheduled for Friday, August 23rd. The review and test will be administered Monday, August 26th from 6 to 9 p.m. All hunter education classes are free of charge and open to hunters and non-hunters alike. Some students take the courses for the firearm safety and outdoor survival information, even if they don’t plan to hunt. For updates, check the online class schedule at fwp.mt.gov.
