Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting and Filtration Project for Domestic Use Completed!! I want to thank Water Charity and everyone who made donations and the people who helped make the video to promote funds for this project. And also thanks to everyone who was involved in carrying out this Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) project (local volunteers, facilitators, institutions, and the community members). We were able to build 3 rainwater harvesting tanks of 10,000 liter capacity (~2,600 gallons) and install 20 filters from CATIS-Mexico! The community households dug holes of 2.75x2.75x1.9m which took 1-2 weeks and each RWH tank took 4 days to build with the help of local experts from the community, the women of the 3 households, and 6 local young women from high school.
