Forget about tub over filling. Still holding heater. Grab some towels. Drop heater. Towel up water. Pick heater back up. Remove shews and step in tube. Still holding heater. Water in tube ice cold. Heater cord unplugged. Get out of tub. Find GFCI drop cord. Plug cord in wall outlet. Grab heater. Step on still damp floor in area of tub without shoes. Heater shuts off. Give up on this idea. Try again tomorrow. Unfortunately :(
