Ropes, Strokes, Goats OPSU Rodeo Benefit Set Saturday By Justine Gaskamp Goodwell, Okla. — Does golfing really get your goat? Well, it will this Saturday as OPSU Rodeo hosts a Ropes, Strokes and Goats event, combining rodeo and golf into one action-packed competition. The fun begins Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. on the OPSU Golf Course with a 9-hole, best-ball scramble made up of 4-man teams. Then, its off to the Rodeo Arena for muley team roping, breakaway roping, and goat tying; each event will have two head of stock and a 60-second time limit (the clock will stop with tight heels for muley roping). The cost is $50 per person or $250 for a team of five; one person from each team will sit out for each event. Entries are due by noon Friday, Nov. 8.
