Rosh Hashana has made me reflect on the past year, and Im glad to - TopicsExpress

Rosh Hashana has made me reflect on the past year, and Im glad to say, so much has happened in these short, amazing 12 months. I want to thank Rebecca Wizov and her family in helping me in pursuing my Jewish faith and inviting me every year to sit with them on the high holidays. In addition,Julia Joya Rosso and her family have taught me so much about religion and believing and cheering me on in being closer with God. With that being said, Im now a junior in college, been preparing to do my own research in psychology coming soon while realizing my calling to be a Forensic Psychologist someday. Furthermore, I finally understood this year that the smartest and thing the made the most sense in the world would be to date my best friend, Justin Robert Nickolich. The only thing I regret is not realizing this sooner. Moreover, I had the honor of being bat mitzvahed at age 20 by my wonderful Rabbi who took me under his wings and gave me the best gift that anyone has ever given me while my entire family and best friends cheered me on at the beautiful service. Last, but certainly not least, I went to Israel this summer. There are too many words to describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to go to this absolutely beautiful land. I had the honor of meeting some of the most amazing people, both on my trip and the Israeli citizens. Not a day goes by that I dont pray for them and just hope that I can return someday. And of course, I cannot forget mom and dad, who have done nothing but support and love me with everything they got. Thank you for that Marla Snyder Lawless and James Lawless. Happy new year; I certainly cannot wait to see what the next 12 months of my life brings.
