Rosyth News:- We have been contacted here at Whats Happening HQ by several members of the local community regarding what is with the X on the trees on Queesnferry Road. So we asked local Councillor Douglas Chapman and Mike Shirkie and this was there response. Unfortunately there are 14 trees coming down in Queensferry Road this week this is due to some of the trees being diseased and dying and other couple of tress are coming down due to the trees causing issues with pavements etc In addition every tree in Backmarch Road will have their crowns pruned and street level growth ( ie from the base of the tree ) will be cut back. No trees are being removed in Backmarch Road.
