Go to our website for contact details rnzwcs.org ULONG’A PRIMARY SCHOOL WATER PROJECT LOCATION: Ulong’a Primary school is situated at Nkoarua ward Poli Division Arumeru District, Arusha Region. The school is found at the foot of Mount Meru twelve (12) Kilometers from the Tamourg road of Arusha Moshi or 34 km from Kilimanjaro Airport North of Tengeru Township POPULATION The school with the 780 students boys and girls. Most of the students come from poor parents family and they need water for daily use as now are experiencing a big problem of water daily while at school. Other beneficiaries of this project care community surrounding the school and other institution like churches around the area. This school belongs to the Government of Tanzania not a Private School where education is free for all students. COOPERATION/OWNERSHIP The work of ensuring the sustainability of the project is under taken by the community under supervision of Rotary Club of Tengeru. The project will be conducted by three parties 1. Donors –Materials . 2. Community- all the work that need labour. 3. Government –Technical support and Advise . The Government already provide the certificate of allowing the project to proceed.
