Roth IRA Flexibility Act Introduced: Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) introduced legislation on September 10 that would amend Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to disregard amounts transferred from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA in computing income for purposes of determining the income-related premiums of the Medicare program.
