Rough past few weeks.... Peter finally sought out a doctors input yesterday into the reason behind his deep internal groin/hip pain... Its hard for him to get up from his recliner or even twist to get out of his car... I cant massage this pain away... Docs gave him 5 days of prednisone... not sure how it will help... hes been trying to get ahold of our base doc for an appointment, but our clinic is way too understaffed and hes not sure how things would go for him here in Wichita at our VA clinic.... It takes a lot for him to finally give in and see a doctor... yesterday, for him, was the turning point when he slipped coming down the stairs... I will say this, the one doctor he saw yesterday actually knew what IBM is.... he feels this is part of the disease... but still wants x-rays to be sure its not something else.... I cant say Ive heard anyone here talk about this kind of pain.... Have you? Sure would like to know... BTW... he feels he may have developed this because of all the solvents and such he was exposed to while working on the flight-line when he was 18....
