Rough roads, mahogany trees lining up the path towards our destination...a small toucan-like bird greeting us at dawn...a white dove perched on a huge caballero tree, freshly cooked food, laughter and coffee...these and more on this #roadtrip. As Gods gift, after 32 years, I was finally able to bring my kids and go back to a town that means a lot to me...Taal, Batangas. I spent a lot of summers in the area. The place has changed a lot but remnants of my childhood remain untouched. I still remember how to get to the house I lived in as a child...the streets we would walk on during the Feast of the Flowers, the house of the only doctor (at that time) in town and the home of Emilio Aguinaldo. I could not resist buying food from my childhood like Batangas kalamay, longganisa, minatamis na kundol and tapang Batangueño. The main reason for the visit is the Mother Mary perched on top of a prayer area. I saw her in my dream a few days back. The message? Gifts of healing and answers to questions were given. Thank You Lord God, Mama Mary, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It was such a hot and humid day but the trip was well worth all the effort. #answeredprayers #spiritualjourney #cleansing #healed
