Rough start to a day. Dumped a few feet of snow, scraped snow off of my car for 30 mins, drove 35 mph on a 75 mile hwy, scary as heck....drove all the way to the guard shack close to work and they said I didnt have the right tires to keep going up....they turned me around. I went down to the bus parking lot, asked the guys where to park...I got out, carrying my purse, computer, a book, a microwaveable frozen lunch, a Gatorade and Mountain Dew, had no bag in my car to carry them so my arms were full. Nice parking guy walked me all the way from my car towards bus shack and I ate it on the ice..puter went smacking down on ice, purse items scattered, drinks rolled away. Embarrassing. He said, heres your Dew and grabbed my hand to help me up. Of course I died laughing, but very concerned about computer. So.....here I am, still in bus shack waiting for it to take me up to work, which started an hour ago. I ended up sharing my morning stories with the crowd in the shack and they were laughing so hard...so at least I felt funny with a wet bottom and looking totally disheveled. One lady said, oh youre the girl that just wiped out....I saw that when I was parking. Happy hump day. Santa, I need an SUV, please....
