Rougher day By D B Catlin — 14 hours ago Its been a rough day in the Catlin household today. Coming home was a big job for Joel yesterday, and I have hit a bit of a wall in the energy department. But we know these things pass, and it is wonderful to be home together. Joel got a couple calls from friends, and a visiting nurse came. Coumadin levels are still low, but rising every so slowly, so were good. A friend brought a wonderfully delicious supper of homemade chicken soup - and since chicken soup is good for what ails you, tomorrow HAS to be a better day, right? What amazes me is that no matter how weak Joel feels, he has not passed up any opportunity to tell people about a great God, and the power of prayer, and his overwhelming gratitude for the gift he has been given. I am working with a friend to coordinate volunteers (yes, I really AM doing it now). If I forget that you offered help, please forgive me and remind me again in a few days, or sign up on the planner. We keep getting notes and texts and emails and Caring Bridge and FaceBook comments about your continuing prayers around the world. We are humbled, and ever so thankful!
