Round 1 of the Auto Value Challenge Series was held Friday Night at the Norway Speedway. Dalton Zehr took Top honors in the Coca-Cola Late Model division, Mark Jenshak won the Auto Value Super Stock feature, and Cody Skog won the DQ-Dog event. Auto Value had a thousand dollar prize on the line in the Coca Cola Late Model feature. Reagan May and Bruce White lead the field to the green flag, with May taking the lead from White on lap two. May held the lead until 29 when she was passed by Scott Stanchina for the lead. Stanchina only led the next six laps until Dalton Zehr advanced from his 12th starting position to fire into the lead on lap 35. Zehr lead the remaining 30 laps winning round 1 of this Summers Auto Value events. Zehr has now capture the last three consecutive feature events at the speedway. 1. #99 Dalton Zehr 2. #52 Tom Lindquist 3. Mike Reichenberger 4. #33 Mike D’Angelo 5. #33 Reagan May. The Auto Value Super Stock $500 main even was lead early on by Tanner Kelly. Kelly led the first 21 laps of the race until he was passed by defending champion Mark Jenshak. Jenshak led the 16 remaining laps winning his first feature of the season. 1. #39 Mark Jenshak 2. #77 Tanner Kelly 3 . #00 Ryan Wender 4. #6 Brett Bray 5. #5 Tim Schultz Cody Skog won the DQ-Dog feature, second was Rhianna Carne third Bradly Ostermann fourth Matt Adams and rounding out the top five was Anthony Scheifelbein Fast qualifiers for the evening were Dalton Zehr for the Coca-Cola Late Models with a time of 14.289 an average speed of 83.98. Mark Jenshak for the Auto Value Super Stocks a time of 16.112 an average speed of 74.478, and Cody Skog in the DQ-Dog four cylinders with a time of 18.435. Coca Cola Late Model heat wins went to Jordan Ives kept Dalton Zehr away from the clean sweep for the evening by edging him in the Dash. Scott Hoffman won the first heat, Mark Miller won the second heat, and Dan Lindsley won the third heat. Brett Bray beat Tim Schultz in the Auto Value Super Stock heat by one hundredth of a second. Rhianna Carne won the DQ-Dog heat.
