Round 7 July 19 Reverse Track Mid season awards will be handed out at drivers meeting, all are welcome Junior classes, we will implement the fuel pooling rule 7-19-2014 The club will be providing the gasoline for the day. No need to bring your gasoline to the tech building. Drain your gas out of your kart tank before coming up to pre tech Please plan on a $4.00 fuel charge at registration for your gasoline for each kart for the day’s events The fuel number will be posted on the line up board before pre tech opens Bring your kart with an empty gas tank to pre-tech, after tech move your kart up and over to the tech building to have the tech person fill your tank to the amount you want from the community container. Any time during the day you need more gasoline, contact the tech person NOTE, at any time before or after a point’s race today, your gasoline may be checked with the fuel tester. Your test number from your kart tank must comply with the established reading on the line up board from this morning’s posting, we allow a plus / minus 10 point variance Failure to meet the established fuel number, including the variance, will result in a loss of points for that race checked only. Zero points do not count as a throw-away for failure to meet the fuel number Do not start any motors until 10am Pre race check list: ____ Bring a smile, be ready to have a bunch of fun ____ Camera ____ Something for lunch / couple energy bars ____ Race ready kart, before you arrive! ____ Fuel, oil, used oil jug ____ Tools, air tank, tire gauge, notebook, etc. We do have an air compressor in the tower, free use ____ Full Face Snell 2005 or newer helmet with full shield ____ Neck collar ____ Gloves ____ Abrasion resistant jacket or kart racing suit ____ Full length pants ____ Shoes, kart racing or wrestling type most common (No sandals) ____ Rib and chest protector ____ Small Kiddie type fire extinguisher ____ Leave with a smile and some great memories. Please pick up around your pit before leaving After you enter the pits: Find your perfect parking spot, 2014 members have open front straight parking Get unloaded Bring your kart, helmet, and rib protector over to grid area, south of the tower for tech Relax get organized mingle around and wait for drivers meeting, walk the track Practice begins, after the national anthem Check the line up board on the back side of the tower for your races Finally a call to begin racing Gates Open 8AM Tech 8:30-9:30 if you miss tech, find Brett to get techd You will start in the back if each heat race, starting the feature based on points earned from the heats as normal Drivers meeting 9:45, all are welcome Practice begins 10AM, Brett will announce at drivers meeting either juniors or seniors first Races begin at 11 AM and go approximately 3 hours 2- heats of 10 laps and 1- feature of 15 laps Scoring tower will make an announcement over the speakers when ribbons are available to come pick up, PLEASE stay away until the announcement is made Pit pass $10 Driver entry $40 includes pit pass Family memberships $40 first family member driver, $20 every family member driver after first is paid Spectators $4 12 and under free in spectator area, after the ambulance leaves and no karts are on the track, pits are open
